LOG PHL 22/11Sorry about this the computer was playing up and i have only just got these now.

Good evening all from Philadelphia, I departed Manchester aboard N272AY A330 on US735 yesterday morning for the 7 hours and 23 minutes flight, We departed 23L at 11.33am and arrived in a suprisingly warm Phily at 1.55pm local time, After clearing customs and immigration in a very quick 15 minutes I was in my booked hotel which is the Marriott which is joined on to concourse B, On arrival I asked for a high floor room facing the airport, And was given just that, I am staying in room 1113 on the 11th Floor, From the room i can monitor all arrivals / departures and those taxiing between concourses, The biz ramp is visible as is the cargo apron, So Anyone planning to visit PHL and is staying here, this is an excellent room to be in, Here are my sightings for yesterday at PHL all logged from my hotel room between 2pm through till 9pm local time on Thanksgiving day !!!!!

And that was my sighting seen from PHL, After logging up in my database a short while ago I have bagged a total of 44 today out of the above logged, which is a good day, From the room I would say a good 85% are readable after dark which was from around 5.25pm from the room I am booked into as the concourses facing the hotel are well lit up, Cargo movements and those landing on the far side runway after dark such as US Airways DASH.8's and CRJ's + one or two others are difficult to read, so my SBS for tie-ing these up has prooved invaluable, As mentioned all movements can easily be read off from the room day or night and 85% + are readable whilst taxiing at night however having my SBS with me ensured I missed nothing, I am leaving here early tomorrow morning bound for Charlotte then down to St Maarten, I will cover both a morning log from here a Charlotte log and my sightings from St Maarten later on tonight,
