A friend of mine has just been to PHL,SXM,MCO and has let me post all of his log's while he was over there.

Good evening all from St Maarten, I was meant to send you this log last night on my arrival here in St Maarten however once I got on the '' beach " i couldn't drag myself of it and the fact I am booked on All Inclusive here at the hotel I had to sample the local beers, therefore the sending of my log was posponed, I will talk about St Maarten in more detail later, firstly here is what was noted down at PHL prior to departure for Charlotte yesterday morning,

The above was logged whist taxiing out for departure aboard N916UW B752 US1583, We were airbrone 45 minutes late due to a weight balance problem with the aircraft as their was only 45 of us on the flight to Charlotte, so we all had to be all re-seated around the plane so their was the right balance for departure, So a little over 45 minutes late we were away of 27L at 07.33 for the 1 hour and 26 minutes flight to CLT, Here are my sightings seen during a 2 hour stop over, all logged whilst walking the gates without hassle,

An excellent couple of hours logging whilst walking the gates saw me bag 25, At Charlotte thier is the North Carolina National Guard base and present was 8 C130's which went begging, Also I noticed on climb out was a Museum, All aicraft could be indentified but none could be read off, The flight down to St Maarten was on N918UW B.757 US877, Another excellent flight which took 3 hours 33 minutes, On arrival at SXM we was quicky through security and I had my first feel of the warm Caribbean sunshine, Here is a small log from that evening here in St Maarten from the beach and from my balconyat the hotel,

And that was my sightings logged from the baech and from my balcony until sunset, I am booked into the Sonesta Maho Beach and Casino Hotel, http://www.sonesta.com/mahobeach/ , Outside the terminal on arrival at SXM you have to get a taxi and this costs 7$ and takes 5 minutes to the hotel, I pre booked this hotel before I left on an All Inclusive rate in an Ocean View Room, And on arrival at the hotel I was given room 501 and the view could only can be described as perfect, In the room their is a kingsize bed, Sattelite TV, Iron board etc and coffee making facilties, Their is also a big balcony, from here you look out across two of the hotels main pools, right across the Ocean, the famous Maho beach and the runway, All you need to do is pull up a chair on the balcony and chill and that is just what I did, Aircraft landing at night could be read off from the balcony too,
